Email Communications

The Physician Regulatory Bodies in Ontario (the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Canadian Medical Protective Association) have been clear that no medical advice, including diagnosis and treatment, can be given by email.  Should emails be received asking for medical advice, you will be advised to book an appointment with your provider.

You are welcome to use our main email address cwhealth@outlook.com for any administrative questions you may have.  Please be aware that this is not a secure email address.

Examples of when to use the email address:

- forwarding a form for completion

- confirming an appointment

- sending an update to your Doctor (not a request for treatment)

Any medical information such as test results will be emailed to you through a secure portal called Ocean.  You will be required to log in with your name and date of birth to access the secure message.

For prescription renewals your pharmacy must fax the request to the clinic, renewals can not be processed by email (fax number 416-463-6577). Please allow up to 2 full business days for renewals to be returned to the Pharmacy.  For new prescriptions, an appointment (phone or in person as appropriate) will be needed.
